Is this a free Canva alternative?

Yes — for the specific job of composing a single social media post (background + logo + text). Canva charges for Magic Resize, custom fonts, and watermark removal on the free tier; this designer is fully free with PNG export and no watermark. Can I export the design as a PDF or vector?

PNG export only in v1. To turn the PNG into a PDF (e.g. to flatten it so it can't be edited), pass the PNG through the /pdf converter. SVG / vector export isn't available yet.

The design composes back-to-front in this order:
